Let’s take the mystery out of it.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle, non-invasive form of energy healing. It’s not religious, and it doesn’t involve any belief system. It’s simply a method of helping your body relax deeply enough to begin repairing itself.

In practical terms, Reiki is a calming practice where I place my hands just above the body. You stay fully clothed, usually lying down, and the focus is on creating a space of stillness and balance

.Reiki works on the principle that the body has its own natural ability to heal—but stress, tension, and life’s chaos can block that process. When we’re overwhelmed or constantly “on,” the body shifts into survival mode, and everything tightens up: the nervous system, the breath, the mind.

That’s where Reiki comes in. It helps bring the body back into a rest-and-repair state—calmer, clearer, more regulated. People often describe feeling deeply relaxed, lighter, and more centred after a session.

And no, you don’t need to understand how it works for it to help.

Reiki can support:

  • Anxiety and overwhelm
  • Physical tension and fatigue
  • Emotional stress or grief
  • Sleep issues
  • Nervous system regulation

Think of it as a reset for your system—a quiet reminder to your body that it’s safe to let go.

Whether you’re navigating a specific challenge or just feeling stuck, Reiki can help bring things back into flow.

Simple. Gentle. Powerful.
